In one of our smoothest-running productions ever, Jodom Pictures wrapped filming on June 26th, in a steamy New Hampshire high school, in 95-degree heat. A fitting finish, perhaps, given the movie's title.
We're already deep into post-production for the short and we are pleased to announce that the score for the film will be composed and performed by the band "Back in Three", which features Jodom's own Mike Duca on guitar!
Our plans call for a gala premiere this coming winter, featuring The Burn Book, Blackout, Going to Great Lengths, and a student film directed by Mike Duca!
April 29th, 2005 -
All cast roles except one have now been filled. Check out our cast page to see the talented performers who will be appearing in the film. All crew positions except one have also been selected (see the crew page). Filming will begin in late May / early June.

Auditions are announced. They'll be held on April 2nd & 9th. We will only be auditioning for the teen roles at this time.
One role has already been filled. Pamela McIntyre will play Maggie. Pamela previously appeared as Vicki in A House Divided.
Co-producers Mike Amato and Steve Sherrick are planning a documentary on high school hate that will be shown in tandem with The Burn Book. The documentary will be produced with an eye towards getting it shown in high schools across the country, and will include interviews with Boston-area high school students, teachers and psychologists.
February 11th, 2005 -
Jodom has announced that The Burn Book will be it's next film, and it's first-ever short. The script has yet to be written, but will center around a group of high school students who gather in a basement one night and cut out yearbook photos of people they don't like, pasting them into a book with derogatory remarks. But at least one of them is not ready to face the consequences of their actions.
Mike Amato will write and direct the short, and calls will go out for auditions in the next few months. In an unusual, experimental move, Amato plans to write the script AFTER the auditions - which will be ad-libbed - are completed. Some adult characters will also be involved in the film, shown in a series of flashbacks. Look for more details in the coming months!
